Purpose

The Executive Committee is EBHO’s executive body charged with translating the organisation’s strategic vision into action. Acting on behalf of the Council between full Council meetings, the Committee plans and coordinates EBHO activities, represents the organisation publicly, oversees operational delivery, and manages funds and assets — all subject to the continuing oversight of the General Assembly and the Council. Its work ensures EBHO remains responsive, fiscally responsible and aligned with its founding commitments to integrity, inclusivity and excellence.

Our Principles

The Executive Committee works closely with committee chairs to align committee workplans with EBHO strategy, to surface resourcing needs, and to ensure coordinated communications and programme delivery across the organisation. The Committee reports annually to the General Assembly and publishes an executive summary of key decisions and financial statements in EBHO’s Annual Report.
