Purpose

The Communication Committee ensures EBHO’s voice is clear, credible and visible across Europe and beyond. We develop and oversee the organisation’s communications strategy to amplify scientific evidence, public education, policy engagement and community outreach — all while staying true to EBHO’s commitments to integrity, inclusivity and service. The Committee Sets strategy for EBHO’s website, social platforms, newsletters and analytics to maximise reach, engagement and accessibility (including multilingual and accessible formats).

Our Principles

All communications follow EBHO’s ethical standards — accuracy, transparency, respect for privacy, and avoidance of sensationalism. We prioritise accessible formats, amplification of diverse and under-represented voices, and adherence to open-science principles when publishing research summaries or educational content.
